Overview

Accessible safe overnight horse camping while en-route to further destinations.
Reduces the risk of vehicle, pedestrian and livestock incidents.
Encourage more use of the trails, healthy alternatives for exercise.
Reduce the distance equestrians have to travel to camp with their horses and access wilderness trails thereby reducing the carbon footprint.
Reduces the risk of the public looking for other areas to park that would impact the environment.
Allows for staged work bees to continue during the off-season, keeping the trails open for all non-motorized users.
Ensures access for the future.
Potential to become a staging area to introduce and educate equestrians to trail maintenance and building, Leave No Trace and wilderness trail riding to name a few.
Can be used for a staging area for Nordic skiing and snow shoeing in winter 
Accessible to adjacent trails and within close proximity to multiple trails within Manning Park
