Overview
Project Summary:
Our goal is to raise $100,000 for the Place des Arts Endowment Fund. So far we've raised $90,000 and the additional funds from the Pepsi Refresh Grant will allow us to grant up to $5000 in scholarships and bursaries each year!
The Place des Arts Endowment Fund is a special fund held by the Vancouver Foundation that generates interest income every year. All interest income funds scholarships and bursaries for students enrolled in music, dance, drama and visual arts classes at Place des Arts.
Deliverables:
Increase the number of scholarships and bursaries awarded each year
Give low-income students the opportunity to experience arts education
