Scouts Save the Planet 1 TV at a Time7th Pickering Scouts

We will join with the Ontario Electronic Stewardship program.  We will save televisions, computers, monitors,stereo's and other forms of electronics from going to the landfill.  Each garbage day we see numbers of these items going into the back of garbage trucks.  We hope to collect a large number from the garbage, educate the public and set up a drop collection point.  One goal is to purchase a trailer and letter it so that we can advertise while we pick up.
