Overview

There just isn’t enough population in the north to find homes for more than 230 dogs every year. 90% of our dogs are internet adopted - all are vet checked, vaccinated, wormed and spayed or neutered, and driven to their new home, mainly in Metro Vancouver, 700 miles away.

We need reliable transportation. Limited finances force us to rely on older vehicles, costly to maintain and unreliable. We’ve been stranded on the highway with a load of dogs for hours, sometimes unable to get to the vet for necessary care. A newer vehicle would allow us to use more of our funds for dog care and spay/neuter education programs rather than repairing an aging van.

How will the $25K be used?

$ 25,000 Purchase of van
